EVALUATION OF CLINICAL SYNDROMES IN WOMEN WITH DIAGNOSED HYPOTHYROIDISM

Hypothyroidism is a common endocrine disease in women, manifested by multisystem clinical syndromes. According to the results of meta-analyses over the past 5–10 years, women with hypothyroidism have a 48–77% increased risk of depression (OR 1.48–1.77), sexual dysfunction occurs in 41.8% of cases, the risk of developing PCOS is 2.87 times higher, the risk of spontaneous abortion increases by 45–70%, and the risk of cardiovascular disease increases by 20–30%. In this article, these clinical syndromes are analyzed based on evidence [1–8]. Research objective: To assess the frequency of clinical syndromes in women with diagnosed hypothyroidism.
