DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF UTERINE FIBROIDS

Resume

Uterine fibroids (leiomyomas) are one of the most common tumors of the female reproductive system. This disease is diagnosed in 20-27% of women of childbearing age. In recent decades, uterine fibroids have become increasingly common during the reproductive years, as women, for social reasons, delay childbearing until later in their reproductive years, as confirmed by ultrasound. Therefore, it is logical that women increasingly have questions about the possibility of becoming pregnant with or after uterine fibroids, and about their impact on pregnancy and childbirth.
