FEATURES OF DIAGNOSIS AND SURGICAL TREATMENT OF VARIOUS FORMS OF HEMORRHOIDS

Resume

Objective. To improve surgical outcomes in patients with chronic hemorrhoids stages III–IV through a hybrid minimally invasive technique combining LigaSure bipolar coagulation with laser ablation. Materials and Methods. A prospective comparative study of 101 patients with chronic hemorrhoids stages III–IV (2022–2026). Study group (n=43): hybrid hemorrhoidectomy (LigaSure + laser ablation, 1560 nm). Control group (n=58): conventional Milligan–Morgan hemorrhoidectomy. Results. The study group demonstrated a 41.8% reduction in operative time, 66.3% decrease in blood loss, 60.3% reduction in VAS pain scores, complication rate reduction from 31.0% to 4.7%, 50.8% shorter hospitalization, and 56.5% faster return to work (p<0.001). Conclusion. Hybrid hemorrhoidectomy is a highly effective and safe method that significantly surpasses traditional hemorrhoidectomy across key clinical parameters.
