ASSOCIATION OF CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE WITH ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

Pulatova P.H. - Asian International University

Resume

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is closely associated with an increased risk of atrial fibrillation (AF). Renal dysfunction may contribute to the development and progression of AF through inflammation, oxidative stress, electrolyte imbalance, and cardiovascular remodeling. Early identification of AF risk in patients with CKD may improve cardiovascular outcomes and enable timely preventive strategies.

Keywords: chronic kidney disease, atrial fibrillation, renal dysfunction, cardiovascular risk, inflammation, arrhythmia.
