ACUTE RESPIRATORY BACTERIAL COINFECTIONS IN COVID-19
Khayitov A.Kh.Bukhara State Medical Institute
Resume
This article presents an unsystematized review of the literature on the problem of bacterial coinfection in COVID-19 coronavirus infection. The article describes the processes that cause the development of a bacterial infection in acute respiratory viral infection. The results of foreign studies show that coronavirus infection through various mechanisms can increase the risk of developing bacterial coinfection. Thus, the role of bacterial co-infection in the prognosis of severe cases of COVID-19 is large and requires further study.
Keywords: coronavirus infection, COVID-19, bacterial coinfection, respiratory infection.
