The article presents data on the etiopathogenesis of the development of adenomyosis against the background of inflammatory diseases of the uterus. The role of the influence of disorders of the immune, hormonal system is considered. Studies on the diagnosis and modern non-invasive methods of organ-preserving treatment and prognosis of the course of the disease have been conducted
