Resume
Cobalt is one of the vital trace elements for all living organisms and is directly involved in hematopoiesis in the form of vitamin B12, as well as in the activity of nerve fibers, muscles and liver. From a chemical point of view, it occurs in compounds in the form of two- and trivalent states and is part of hydrolytic and redox enzymes. It has a complex-forming property, actively participates in metabolic processes, activates the synthesis of muscle proteins, increases the amount of hemoglobin, the number of hematopoietic
Abstract: Cobalt is one of the vital trace elements for all living organisms and is directly involved in hematopoiesis in the form of vitamin B12 in the human body, in the activity of nerve fibers, muscles and liver. From a chemical point of view, it is part of hydrolytic and redox enzymes as divalent and trivalent catalysts in compounds. It has a complexing property, actively participates in metabolic processes, activates the synthesis of muscle proteins, increases the amount of hemoglobin, the number of hematopoietic elements. An excess amount of trace elements causes pathological conditions.
