Resume

The increase in the prevalence of endometriosis dictates the need for further development of methods of its treatment, taking into account the main pathogenetic mechanisms. The article provides an overview of current information on the effect of changes in cellular and humoral immunity on the occurrence and progression of endometrioid disease. Cellular dysfunction and violation of the cytokine profile in patients with endometriosis create a favorable background for the further development of the disease.
