Resume

Urogenital infection is an important risk factor for the development of PR. Currently, a large number of studies are devoted to the role of subclinical urogenital infection in the genesis of PD. At the same time, if earlier the main attention of researchers and clinicians was directed to infectious diseases of the lower genitals, then at the present stage there are more and more reports of chronic intrauterine infection and its role in the complicated course of pregnancy. Intrauterine infection in pregnant women can be the result of ascending infection in the presence of infection of the lower reproductive tract, as well as the persistence of microorganisms in the endometrium in women with a history of chronic endometritis.

Key words: premature birth, urogenital infection, intrauterine infection.
