STATUS OF INCIDENCE WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C IN THE KHORAZM REGION

Rezume

In chronic cases associated with the hepatitis C virus, in most cases (79.9%) hepatitis C is observed as a monoinfection. In the sex composition of patients, the proportion of male patients predominates. This situation can be explained by the fact that representatives of this sex are more likely to contract an infection and are more likely to be exposed to risk factors that determine the transition of the disease to a chronic form. Fibrotic changes in the liver are observed in the majority (97.4%) of patients.In a mixed case of hepatitis C and B, the degree of damage to the liver tissue is significantly higher than in hepatitis C in the form of monoinfection. In patients, genotype 1b (66.0%) and genotype 3a (20.8%) of the hepatitis C virus were mainly detected.
