In 54 patients with heroin addiction, neurosis-like disorders were mainly observed in the phenomenon of persistent asthenia. In the patients examined, the quality of life was reliably reduced in all indicators, including satisfaction with the role function due to physical condition, the pain scale, the general health scale, the scale of vital activity, the scale of role functioning due to emotional state and the scale of mental health. Neurosis-like disorders in the post-abstinence period of heroin addiction in HIV-infected patients are more difficult. Patients undergo unsuccessful treatment with psychotropic medications, complex methods of pharmacotherapy with wide involvement of methods of psychotherapy and immune correction. In patients with heroin addiction with HIV infection, early disruptions and relapses in the post-abstinence condition are noted due to difficultly corrected neurosislike disorders and psychological conflict.
