THE ROLE OF EEG VIDEO PSG IN PATIENTS WITH PHARMACORESISTANT EPILEPSY

Resume,

The article presents the problem of management of patients with different course of epilepsy based on an assessment of sleep structure. Comparison drawn between patients with pharmacoresistant epilepsy and pharmacoreactive with a control group of healthy children and patients with sleep disorders.

Identified qualitative and quantitative changes of the structure in the form of a lengthening of the latent period of Delta sleep, REM, frequent arousal and shifts of sleep stages, as well as reducing the performance index of sleep, can be considered in the search for both symptomatic and pathogenetic therapy for patients with resistant course of epilepsy.
