EARLY EPIDEMIOLOGICAL, CLINICAL AND LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS AND IMPROVEMENT OF TREATMENT FOR CUTANEOUS LEISHMANIASIS

Resume,

The subject of the research was 76 patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis aged from 2 to 65 years. The diagnosis of cutaneous leishmaniasisis determined by clinical and epidemiological records and is confirmed by the results of parasitological research work.

Results of the questionnaire among the population in the epidemic areas were effective. This led to early treatment and early diagnosis and treatment of patients with leishmaniasis. We have been explored the duration of clinical periods of cutaneous leishmaniasis against the background of complex therapy with methylene blue by means of the apparatus ALT VOSTOK in the main group of 12 patients. The results of the research showed that in patients of the main group on the background of treatment with the device ALT VOSTOK the duration of the main periods was reliably reduced than the control group who were treated with traditional methods.
