Resume,

Acute appendicitis is one of the most common abdominal diseases requiring surgical treatment. In children, appendicitis develops faster, and destructive changes in the appendix, leading to appendicular peritonitis, occur much more frequently than in adults. These patterns are most pronounced in children of the first years of life, due to the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child ‘s body, which influence the nature of the clinical picture of the disease and in some cases require a special approach to solving tactical and therapeutic tasks. The results of this work will allow in the future to diagnose acute appendicitis in the early stages, since knowledge of the radiation signs of acute appendicitis will enable both diagnosticians and pediatric surgeons to diagnose acute appendicitis within 6 hours of the onset of the disease, which will further prevent the appendicitis and unfounded appendectomy.
