Resume,

The article describes the problems of industrial safety of large-scale chemical plants. Those industries where chemical accidents are expected are called chemically hazardous facilities, large the enterprises of the chemical, pulp and paper, defense, oil refining, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy possess stocks of toxic substances. A significant number of them are concentrated on the objects of the food, meat and dairy industry, refrigerators, and trading bases. The classification of chemically hazardous substances according to the actions on the human body, as fast-acting and slow-acting, as well as on the danger and toxicity of exposure to the human body, which indicates the concentration of harmful substances. By the combined action of several harmful substances, several cases of combined action are observed. The combination can be of three types: synergism – one substance enhances the action of another; antagonism – one substance weakens the effect of another; summation – the action of substances in combination develops. A number of metals and non-metals that are part of toxic compounds, as well as routes of entry into the human body and signs of damage. Infection of the terrain depends on the resistance of chemicals, which is determined by the boiling point of the substance, from the state of aggregation and the chemical nature of chemically hazardous substances. At each enterprise, a plan for the elimination of possible accidents is developed. Emergency prevention is a set of measures carried out in advance and aimed at the greatest possible reduction in the risk of occurrence of stemming situations, as well as to preserve people’s health, reduce the size of damage to the environment and material losses in case of their occurrence.
