STUDYING THE PROPERTIES OF THE CLINICAL COURSE OF PNEUMONIA IN CHILDREN UP TO 1 YEAR OLD WITH PERINATAL ENCEPHALOPATHY

Resume,

Objective: To study the properties of the clinical course of pneumonia in children under 1 year of age with perinatal encephalopathy.

Materials and research methods: Clinical and epidemiological, bacteriological, laboratory and instrumental studies of 100 children up to 1 year old with perinatal encephalopathy and children without perinatal encephalopathy who were treated in the Pulmonology department of the multidisciplinary children’s hospital of Surkhandarya region for 2015-2018 were carried out.

Conclusions and discussions: In the main group, the disease in severe form was 75% in 1 subgroup of patients aged 0 to 3 months, the disease in medium-severe form aged 6 to 12 months in 3 subgroups was 43%. In patients of the control group, severe illness was registered in 1 subgroup aged 0 to 3 months and amounted to 64%.

The clinical symptoms of pneumonia in children with perinatal encephalopathy (chronic cough, cyanosis during seizures, convulsions) were 1.5 times more pronounced than in children without perinatal encephalopathy.
