FEATURES OF COMBINED BRAIN INJURIES WITH SPLEEN DAMAGE IN CHILDREN

Under the supervision of the authors were 63 children with a diagnosis of simultaneous damage to the spleen with concussion. In all patients who were admitted to the hospital after an injury up to 6 hours, children complained of headaches, nausea, vomiting, and tinnitus.

On palpation, the anterior abdominal wall was moderately painful, mainly on the left side of the region hypochondria sinister. 6-12 hours after the injury, the condition of the affected children worsened over time. The pains throughout the abdomen intensified, blood pressure reduced, the pulse became frequent. The skin is covered with cold, sticky sweat. Treatment of children with combined damage to the spleen can only be operational. An established diagnosis of organ damage is indication for surgical treatment.
