Resume

Relevance. Acute respiratory diseases (ARD) are now a serious problem of global community. Especially noteworthy is the fact that in pregnancy, the ARD pass severe and complicated.

The purpose of the work. Collection of information from the literature on the specific epidemiological features and problems of the diagnosis of ARD in modern obstetrics.

Conclusions. The indicators of the incidence of ARD in the structure of human infections are presented, a comparative analysis between the severe course of the disease, dangerous and secondary complications and a modern approach to the diagnosis of ARD is carried out. The importance of a comprehensive PCR diagnostic test panel adapted for use in obstetrics was noted.

Keywords: Acute respiratory diseases, pregnancy, acute respiratory viral infection, obstetrics, influenza, diagnosis, test panel.
