PREVALENCE, CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND HIB IMMUNIZATION CHILDREN IN UZBEKISTAN

Resume

Infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) are widespread in many countries around the world. With this purpose, we studied the prevalence and clinical features of the most common forms of Haemophilus influenzae in 124 children aged 2 months to 15 years. Found that Hib infection in the majority of cases occur in children with diseases of the lower respiratory tract (43,8%), the overall prevalence rates Hib accounted for 38.7% of the total number of children examined and depended on the clinical forms of Haemophilus influenzae.
