Resume

Rickets of children often develop curvature of the spine and legs, often developing deformation of the pelvis, chest. But, in terms of the frequency of occurrence of deformity of the lower extremity, it occupies the first place among postrachitic skeleton deformities. To conduct the study, 68 children were examined in the department of traumatology and orthopedics at the TashPMI clinic. A good result was found out of 42 children who received a conservative method of treatment in 29 children under 3 years of age (69%), a satisfactory result was found in 13 children (30.1%) and no unsatisfactory results. It is concluded that the varus deformities have large levers to correct the deformation, and with valgus deformities, one of the curvature levers is short, the load during redresses falls on the capsule-ligamentous apparatus of the knee joint, in particular on its lateral portion, thus, under the plaster cast, the correction of the axis of the limb occurs due to the stretching of the capsule-ligamentous apparatus, which must be taken into account when physiotherapy is performed after the plaster is removed.
