Resume
The knee joint is involved in the pathological process in a variety of diseases – deforming osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, seronegative spondylitis, microcrystalline arthropathy, chondromatosis, injuries Purpose of the study. Improving the radiation diagnosis of inflammatory diseases, injuries of soft tissue structures of the knee joint and their complications. Materials and research methods. The work is based on the results of a comprehensive clinical, ultrasound, magnetic resonance and arthroscopic examination of 122 knee joints in 112 patients with a history of traumatic injury. Conclusion. The results obtained indicate the high efficiency of ultrasound in the diagnosis of synovitis, free fluid in the joint cavity and suprapatellar sac, as well as Baker cysts in patients with x-ray stage zero osteoarthritis. This helps to identify the group of patients with the highest risk of osteoarthrosis progression. At the same time, the ultrasound method is significantly inferior to MRI in the diagnosis of early dystrophic changes in the ligamentous apparatus, menisci and cartilage of the joint. However, the clinical and prognostic significance of these changes is less significant.
