MULTIPARAMETRIC DIAGNOSTICS OF PNEUMONIA AND THEIR COMPLICATIONS IN CHILDREN

Resume

An important role in the diagnosis of pneumonia and their complications is assigned to the complex application of radiation research techniques. The possibilities of using new methods of radiation diagnostics (digital radiography, ultrasound examination, multispiral computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging) have increased.

Material and methods: The work is based on the results of a comprehensive standard examination of 103 children with pneumonia and 31 with complications of pneumonia at the age from 1 to 18 years old, who were examined and treated at the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.

Results: The presented semiotics of complicated pneumonia with the use of new types of imaging in radiation diagnostics is presented incompletely. Currently, in the early and differential diagnosis of complications of pneumonia, there is no experience of complex radiation diagnostic methods of examination, the algorithm for their application has not been clarified. In a few works, there is only data on their capabilities in the diagnosis of complications of pneumonia, but there is no information on their complex use with effectiveness.

In modern medicine, the study of pathological processes, assessment of the morphological and functional state of tissues and organs, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, control of treatment are unthinkable without X-ray, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging studies. These studies are accessible, informative and, importantly, non-traumatic. This formed the basis of this scientific and analytical research.
