Resume

An analysis of the history of the disease was made in 332 (78.3%) children with hypertrophy of the nasopharyngeal tonsil. Hypertrophy of the nasopharyngeal tonsils is most common among boys (60%).

A comparative analysis of the operation under local application anesthesia and general intubation anesthesia was carried out. The positive and negative aspects of these methods of anesthesia are indicated.

Determined the relative amount of cow losses when using various methods of removing hypertrophied nasopharyngeal tonsils.

The presence of iron deficiency anemia was revealed in 260 (78.3%).

At the end of the article, conclusions are given as a recommendation for practicing ENT doctors.
