CLINICAL-EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY OF EPILEPSY IN FERGHANA VALLEY

Resume
Epilepsy has been known to mankind since its inception. The problem of epilepsy remains relevant at the present stage due to the high incidence and prevalence. Research on the epidemiology of epilepsy is being actively carried out in the developed countries of Europe and the USA.
According to the authors, epidemiological studies make it possible to get an idea of the distribution of patients with epilepsy among the population, to assess the effectiveness of the existing accounting system, the types of therapy and rehabilitation measures used, and will also make it possible to determine the required volume of neuropsychiatric care.
