CLINICAL AND AUDIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF HEARING PATHOLOGY IN CHILDREN WITH DOWN’S SYNDROME

Resume
It is difficult to overestimate the role of hearing in the issue of psych verbal, intellectual and social development of any child. Studies show that up to 80% of people with Down syndrome may have some form of impairment of this function.
And this means that early detection and treatment of hearing loss in a child, of course, helps to prevent the occurrence of secondary psychological disorders and facilitate social adaptation.
