Zhumaeva Z. Zh. -Bukhara State Medical Institute.

Resume

This article discusses the main aspects of the methods and study of the prevalence of AR among children of school and preschool age in disadvantaged regions of the Bukhara region in the epidemiological survey according to the International Study of Asthma and Allergy in Children (ISAAC) and compared with existing statistical data.According to experts; WHO allergic rhinitis (AR) affects 10-20% of the population; and its symptoms in epidemiological studies are detected even more often: they are noted by up to 40% of respondents. Currently, there is a further increase in allergic diseases in children; among which AR prevails. According to a number of epidemiological studies conducted in various regions of the world, the prevalence of AR in the pediatric population reaches 22%.This disease restricts the life activity of children, reduces their social and physical activity, as well as the quality of life, and general well-being in general. Long-term disturbance of nasal breathing leads to hypoxia, primarily of the brain, which significantly reduces cognitive functions, affecting the learning ability of schoolchildren. AR can eventually transform into bronchial asthma (BA), sometimes leading to the disability of children.

Key words: allergy, rhinitis, ecology.
