Resume

Throughout the world, diabetes mellitus (DM2, T1DM), prediabetes: impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and impaired fasting glucose (IFG) among the population with their consequences continue to remain one of the variable problems of modern science and practical medicine, leading to the early development of cardiovascular disease continuum. The number of people with diabetes and prediabetes is increasing from year to year. The growth rate is especially striking with the deterioration of epidemiological conditions, as well as with a significant increase in the prevalence of the main risk factors for cardiovascular and/or non-communicable diseases among the population.

Keywords:prediabetes, diabetes mellitus, impaired glucose tolerance, impaired fasting glucose, dyslipidemia.
