Resume

Inflammation of the paranasal sinuses is assessed as a polyethological disease of the whole body. Most often, acute sinusitis occurs as a complication of an acute infectious disease (respiratory viral infections, influenza, measles, scarlet fever, etc.) with subsequent activation of the secondary microflora [1,3,4]. The method of determining mucociliary activity is more often used to evaluate MST under experimental conditions. The surface of the mucous membrane is manifested by a change in the intensity of light reflection caused by the vibration of the flickering cilia and directed at the surface of this layer, and this condition is also recorded by a photodiode. [1,2]

Keywords: acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, chinchilla rabbits, mucoactive drugs.
