Resume

Suicidal behavior includes suicidal thoughts, suicidal thoughts, suicidal intentions, suicidal actions (suicidal attempts and completed suicide). The causes of suicidal behavior were the presence of chronic somatic disease and disability, accompanied by a change in the quality of life and playing the role of a traumatic effect. Moreover, the main influence on the formation of motives for suicidal behavior was exerted by the “internal picture of the disease”, which includes sensory, emotional, cognitive and behavioral components. Screening of suicidal tendencies can be combined with the initial examination of the patient. In addition, when clarifying complaints, it is necessary to pay attention to sleep disorders, mood disorders, the presence of anxiety, obsessive thoughts and other mental disorders in order to identify psychogenic reactions caused by the traumatic effect of the fact of incurable somatic disease and disability.
