STATE OF IMMUNE STATUS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC PURULENT OTITIS MEDIA

Narzullaev N.U. - Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina

Resume

The purpose of the study was to study the parameters of the immune system in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media. We observed 25 patients aged from 28 to 45 years with chronic suppurative otitis media (CPOM), who were undergoing inpatient treatment in the ENT department of the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Treatment Center. Of these, men accounted for 56.6%, women - 43.4%. Unilateral otitis media was observed in 57.8%, bilateral - in 42.2%. In addition to the traditional examination (general blood test, urine test, bacteriological and biochemical examination), all patients underwent an ENT examination, paracentesis (26.5%), and radiography of the mastoid process (9.6%). Immunological studies were carried out jointly with the Research Institute of Immunology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. (Tashkent).

Key words: immune status in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media, ENT examination, paracentesis, mastoid radiography.
