Resume

According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the cause of death in 31% of all deaths in the world [1]. If this nosological figure are: myocardial infarction, heart failure, arterial hypertension and arrhythmias, nevertheless arrhythmias and heart failure, which are the subject of interest of modern arrhythmology, will account for approximately half of the causes of death from CVD, or from 15 to 20% of the total global figure, mortality [2,3]. Purpose of the study to assess the immediate results, overall efficacy and safety of radiofrequency destruction in patients with various cardiac arrhythmias. Purpose of the study to assess the immediate results, overall efficacy and safety of radiofrequency destruction in patients with various cardiac arrhythmias.

Key words catheter ablation, transseptal puncture, novel oral anticoagulants, cardiac resynchronization device, atrial fibrillation.
