Resume

Anemia is a disease characterized by a decrease in the level of hemoglobin and red blood cells, which leads to insufficient oxygen supply to tissues. Different types of anemia may have specific ophthalmic complications, such as anemic retinopathy, central retinal vein thrombosis, retinal hemorrhage, and papilledema. This article discusses the ophthalmological manifestations of different types of anemia, the mechanisms of their development, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

Key words: anemia, ophthalmological manifestations, optical coherence angiography
