Resume
Objective of the Study: To investigate the clinical characteristics of chronic aphthous stomatitis in women of fertile age, identify the unique aspects of its pathogenesis, and develop scientifically grounded recommendations for improving treatment methods. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted in a specified place and period. Participants were selected from women of fertile age. Diagnostic methods and treatment approaches used were described. Conclusion: The clinical course of chronic aphthous stomatitis in women of fertile age is significantly influenced by hormonal changes, immune system disorders, and vitamin deficiencies. Changes in estrogen and progesterone levels were identified as key factors that determine the frequency and severity of disease recurrence. The duration of chronic aphthous stomatitis often worsens during specific phases of ovulation or menstrual cycles, confirming its direct correlation with hormonal status. In addition to traditional treatment methods, the use of hormonal balance-restoring medications and immunomodulators improved treatment effectiveness and prolonged the remission period. A comprehensive approach to treatment, including topical corticosteroids, systemic immunomodulators, and probiotics, helped improve patient conditions. It is recommended to consider the hormonal and immunological status of women of fertile age in the treatment of chronic aphthous stomatitis. Updated treatment regimens provided long-term positive outcomes.
