IMMUNO-INFLAMMATORY ASPECTS OF PARKINSON'S DISEASE

The review analyzes immunological disorders in Parkinson's disease (PD). Data on neuroinflammation, which is associated with cell degeneration in the substantia nigra of the midbrain and involves cells of innate and adaptive immunity, are presented. The levels of cytokines in the brain, cerebrospinal fluid and peripheral blood were analyzed. The relationship between neuroinflammation and neuron dysfunction is also discussed. Data on immunological disorders in PD in humans and in animal models of the disease are presented; the characteristics of the PD model are discussed; the role of the blood-brain barrier in PD; the role of the blood-brain barrier in PD; the role of the blood-brain barrier in PD. The data on the violation of the blood-brain barrier and evidence of autoimmune inflammation in this disease are presented. Preclinical markers of PD are discussed, including immunological markers such as cytokines, HLA-DR antigens, HLA-DQ antigens and autoantibodies; the development of algorithms for pre-symptomatic diagnosis, prevention and treatment at the pre-symptomatic stage of PD can stop or delay the death of neuronal cells.
