Resume

Euthyroidism in women with thyroid pathology is a necessary optimal condition for a positive outcome. Pregnant women with thyrotoxicosis are relatively rare, and are a serious problem in the clinical practice of endocrinologists and obstetricians-gynecologists (Sidelnikova V.M., 2009; Cooper D.S. et al., 2018). Thyrotoxicosis is a hormonal disease in which the production of antibodies to thyroid-stimulating hormone receptors, stimulation, and increased thyroid function occur. The frequency of this disease during pregnancy reaches 3% (Luton D. et al., 2005; Cooper D.S. et al., 2013). However, these data require clarification, since clinical thyrotoxicosis can also be characteristic of other pathological conditions, such as gestational thyrotoxicosis, Hashi toxicosis, trophoblastic disease (Potin V.V. et al., 2008; Merza Z., 2015; Yoshihara A. et al., 2015). Purpose of the work. Study of morphological and morphometric changes in the spleen against the background of thyrotoxicosis.

Keywords. Thyroid gland, thyrotoxicosis, euthyroidism, Hashi toxicosis, trophoblastic disease.
