THE IMPORTANCE AND NEED FOR MAMMARY GLAND SECRETS

The article presents a brief overview of data on the mammary glands (MG), which are the only organ connecting the mother's body and the newborn after birth. Mother's milk is the most optimal food for the offspring of mammals, which has individual characteristics and changes depending on the state of the mother's body, the frequency and duration of breastfeeding, but at the same time always remains the optimal food for the offspring. baby. Breast milk is of great importance in the transfer of adoptive immunity, as well as in the maturation and development of the digestive and immune systems of the newborn. Breastfeeding is also a major factor in the normal development of the child, reducing the pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system and allergization of the newborn's body in early postnatal ontogenesis.
