THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ERECTOR SPINAE PLANE (ESP) BLOCK IN POSTOPERATIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT FOR OPEN KIDNEY SURGERIES
Kayumova P.M. - Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Urology Uzbekistan Tashkent
Resume
A study conducted on 116 patients of ASA class I–III confirmed the effectiveness of the ESP block in reducing postoperative pain and opioid consumption, particularly during the first 6 hours after surgery (p < 0.001). The main advantages of this method are its simplicity and high safety profile.
Key words : erector Spinae Plane (ESP) block nephrectomy; postoperative pain; pain managment.
