Resume

Early detection and effective treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa in children is one of the urgent problems that need to be solved in dental practice. Acute herpetic and candidiasis stomatitis occupies a leading position among viral infections of the oral mucosa in children. According to epidemiological studies by domestic and foreign authors, the prevalence of this disease ranges from 50% to 100%, of which 20% have various clinical signs in the oral cavity.
