Resume

Placenta accreta is a severe obstetric complication associated with a high risk of massive blood loss, hysterectomy, and prematurity in newborns. The main factor contributing to the development of this pathology is the scar on the uterus. The purpose of the study was to improve the outcomes of pregnancy and childbirth in women with placenta accreta by improving the prediction and prevention of complications. If ultrasound signs of placenta accreta are detected, prenatal hospitalization of all patients at 33-34 weeks of pregnancy is advisable in order to prepare for delivery and minimize the risk of bleeding.

Key words: pregnancy, placenta accreta, cesarean section, delivery, newborn.
