Resume

Objective: To study the cytokine status in pregnant women complicated by mitral valve insufficiency of rheumatic etiology. The study involved 100 pregnant women, of which 70 were in the main group and 30 were in the control group, the pregnancy was uncomplicated. In our study, we studied the cytokines IL-1β and IL-6. In the course of our study, it was found that interleukin-1beta (IL-1β) is associated with rheumatic diseases, its concentration is higher in the plasma of pregnant women with mitral valve insufficiency due to rheumatism. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a cytokine that plays a role in inflammation and has been shown to affect the cardiovascular system, regulating heart valve insufficiency, cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and apoptosis.
