Resume

This study explored the impact of tobacco consumption on the development of liver and pancreatic diseases. The research included 96 patients (45 with liver diseases and 51 with pancreatic disorders). The analysis focused on tobacco consumption patterns, professional activity, age, and gender distribution. The main symptoms observed were pain (37.2%), anorexia (40%), and obesity (13.7%). Tobacco consumption duration was predominantly over 10 years in the first group (33.3%), while in the second group, it was most common for 5-10 years (34.8%). In conclusion, tobacco consumption significantly increases the risk of liver and pancreatic diseases, emphasizing the importance of early prevention and intervention strategies.
