NECROTICAL ENTEROCOLITIS OF INFANTS

Resume

The article presents a brief review of the literature on necrotic enterocolitis, which occurs not only in premature infants, but also in full-term infants weighing more than 2500 grams. The importance of Caesarean delivery in the occurrence of necrotic enterocolitis pathology is discussed.
