THE ROLE OF CHITOSAN AND COMPLEX COMPOUNDS IN HUMAN HEALTH

Resume

In this article, as a result of studying the physicochemical properties of chitosan compounds, the importance of several complex compounds was deeply studied and mainly highlighted as a solution to the current global problem of obesity. Chitosan, deacetylated chitin, is considered a dietary supplement that reduces body weight, which is widely available on the shelves around the world and has been evaluated in a number of trials. The main result obtained from chitosan is a change in body weight. Secondary outcomes include changes in observable markers such as body mass index, waist circumference, body fat percentage, blood pressure, peri-intestinal lipids, plasma glucose, fat-soluble vitamins, and fecal fat
