STUDY OF ORAL FLUID COMPOSITION IN CHILDREN WITH RECURRENT HERPETIC STOMATITIS COMBINED WITH ALLERGIC DISEASES

The aim of the study was to comparatively examine the composition of oral fluid in children with recurrent herpetic stomatitis (RHS), both in isolated cases and when combined with various allergic diseases. It was found that in 55.6% of the 9 evaluated indicators, the composition of oral fluid in children diagnosed with RHS did not differ from that of healthy children, but in 44.4% of the cases, significant differences were observed. Blood cell elements increased by 1.24 times, nitrites by 2.0 times, and protein by 3.10 times. When RHS was combined with allergic diseases, blood cell elements and leukocytes increased by 4.76 and 8.32 times, respectively, compared to healthy controls. Protein in the main group exceeded that of the control and comparison groups by 3.25 and 1.05 times, respectively. Ketones were significantly higher in the main group compared to other groups — 1.39 and 1.36 times, respectively. In cases of combined pathologies involving RHS and allergic conditions, the levels of blood cells, leukocytes, protein, ketones, and glucose in children's oral fluid were recommended as diagnostic criteria and prognostic predictors to assess the severity of the condition, treatment effectiveness, and disease outcome
