Resume

Pancreatic cancer (PCa) is an oncological disease with the most unfavorable prognosis and low patient survival rate. It should be noted that only in 44.2% of cases the diagnosis was confirmed morphologically. The 5-year survival rate varied from 24% of cases at stage I of the disease to 2% in tumors with distant metastases. The pancreas is located in the retroperitoneal space, which makes early diagnosis of tumors difficult
