For etiological diagnosis for the presence of hepatitis C markers, enzyme immunoassay was used. In the serum, L-arginine was determined. The amino acid composition of the blood serum was determined by high performance liquid chromatography on a DuPont chromatograph (USA). Nitrites in serum were also determined.
