INFLUENCE OF THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF GROUNDWATER ON THE MORPHOLOGY OF LIVER TISSUE

Resume

In an experimental study conducted on rats, the morphological characteristics of liver tissue were evaluated following prolonged consumption of groundwater. It was established that the intake of hard water leads to a decrease in bile outflow, resulting in bile stasis and pathological changes in the liver tissue - in particular, fibrosis, inflammatory reactions, and disturbances in the antioxidant system. The results also demonstrated that chronic groundwater consumption induces dystrophic transformations of hepatocytes, impaired microcirculation, and reactive changes in the portal tracts
