Resume

Umbilical hernia repair is a common surgical procedure performed to repair a bulge in the abdominal wall around the abdomen. Although relatively safe, it carries a risk of complications that may require additional treatment and increase recovery time. This article discusses strategies to prevent and improve the treatment of complications that occur after umbilical hernia surgery.
