Resume

Candidiasis of the oral mucosa in infants is one of the most common forms of fungal infections in early childhood. High morbidity rates, possible complications, and a decrease in the child's quality of life necessitate the search for effective and safe treatment method. The article provides an overview of modern approaches to the treatment of candidiasis stomatitis in newborns, including traditional antifungal drugs, the use of probiotics, and new combined treatment regimens. Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of various methods based on clinical observations is presented. Prevention measures and the role of oral microbioma are also discussed. As a result, the need for an individual approach to therapy and the implementation of comprehensive treatment protocols, taking into account the child's age and severity of the clinical picture, has been substantiated
