Resume

The differential diagnostic criteria for glossalgia and diseases of the oral mucosa in women during the climacteric period have been studied. An analysis of the clinical and pathogenetic mechanisms underlying the development of glossalgia under conditions of hormonal imbalance was carried out. The role of endocrine, neurological, and vascular factors in the formation of pain syndrome was assessed. Objective diagnostic parameters are presented, including laser Doppler flowmetry, capillaroscopy, electromyography, and biochemical analysis of oral fluid. Differential diagnosis of glossalgia with galvanosis, candidal stomatitis, burning mouth syndrome, and neurogenic disorders was conducted. Modern therapeutic strategies are described, including pharmacological correction, physiotherapy, neuroprotection, and antioxidant therapy. The need for an interdisciplinary approach in selecting a treatment strategy, taking into account systemic and local factors, has been established.
